ROME SPRING CLASS '25: FINAL PROJECTS

By the end of the second day of class, my students had to choose the subject of their magazine, in Italian, AND they had to be 100% passionate enough about it to create a full publication. Their projects have been edited here for length.

So what did they learn?
-How to conceive a viable brand (It must be niche enough and broad enough simultaneously)
-Mission Statement writing that is so tight it is the brand filter
-Logo Design
-Story mix and pacing
-Choosing topics and make them rich and beneficial to the reader
-Creating a grid structure
-Brand Voice
-Visual Storytelling
-Photo Editing
-Content Development
-Editorial Design
-Departments vs. Features
- and a great work ethic!

Student work in order of appearance:
- Giovanna Marques: Domani (Tomorrow)
- Isabella Torres: Senso Vivo (Living through Senses)
- Julia Gomes: Il Collectivo (The Collective)
- Gabriele Correa: Vittoria (Victory) @gabimoove
- Brianna Weber: Unica (Unique) @briweb.r
- Michele Rivero: Festa! (Party)
- Toni Rothchild: Portone (Doorway)
- Janelly Morales: Bere Stile (Drinking with Style)

Praise and thanks to @keanuniversity University, @mgc.rome @rosemgonnella Gonnella for this amazing program and inviting me to participate
