BEHIND THE SCENES OF THE 417 MAGAZINE REDESIGN
It was an honor sharing the podium with Sarah Patton, CD of 417 Magazine one week ago today at the CITY & REGIONAL MAGAZINE ASSOCIATION Annual Conference in Denver.
Our presentation was called "Behind The Scenes of The 417 Magazine Redesign". With this concept the audience would hear about the process from BOTH the client side AND the consultant side. We hoped to lift the curtain so fellow magazine friends could better understand how it all worked, from the beginning to the triumphant finish. Thank you Sarah and the 417 team for being great collaborators!
Redesigns can be a daunting undertaking, but with the right processes in place and a collaborative commitment – it is much easier to tackle! What's been your experience with redesign projects? What would you want to know about the process?
This industry conference is one of my faves, because I get to see old friends, meet new ones and soak up industry innovations to polish up my thinking concerning the business side magazines.
PS: Little known fact, I started my career at Washingtonian Magazine, so you see I was born right into the #CRMA family. :)
